The moment football fans have been waiting for – Super Bowl Sunday!
About the Super Bowl
The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL), the highest level of professional American football in the world. The game was first played in 1967 as part of an agreement between the NFL and its then-rival, the American Football League (AFL).
The game was originally called the AFL-NFL World Championship Game, but was later renamed the Super Bowl after the merger of the two leagues in 1970. The first Super Bowl was held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 1967 and was played between the Green Bay Packers of the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs of the AFL.
Since then, the Super Bowl has become one of the most watched sporting events in the world, with millions of viewers tuning in for the annual championship game.
